A JOURNEY CALLED LIFE

Delhi we love you! There is nothing more cheerful in life than colours.  Indiblogger seems to understand this pretty well. That is why they had been partnering with Berger Paints to enlighten the janta about the latest technology of painting. Yesterday, on the occasion of Valentines day, I had the pleasure of having lunch in Butterfly, Lounge and Bar, Paschim Vihar. The place is easy to locate as its in DDA Central Market Paschim Vihar. I took the metro and then an auto ride.  Starting with the ambiance, the place is huge. its actually perfect for hosting parties. The place has a restaurant cum banquet look. A huge Buddha sculpture is the centre of attraction. The place is spread over two floors. The upper floor exclusively for parties. It has neon lighting and 3 D effect painting on the walls.  Since I am a vegetarian, I started with Crispy corn. The sweet corns were crispy and delicious.  For mocktails, I had the Oreo shake. The shake was not too sugary, making it taste perfect. Then I had the Butterfly Paratha. It was delicious and flavourful. It was stuffed with minced cottage cheese and herbs. It was not too oily. It was perfect for my taste.  The service is good. The staff is sweet.

It seldom happens that we do something for our dear soldiers. They are protecting us day and night by sacrificing their own family life and other pleasures. We always feel grateful towards them nonetheless. But what do we actually do to make them feel special? Well this Republic Day it was different. Consumer Durables giant LG India came up with a unique #KarSalaam concept to salute our Indian Soldiers. #KarSalaam initiative was launched prior to Republic Day where the whole nation was invited to send their wishes to the soldiers. The campaign was rolled out through radio, online and malls from where wishes were collected. A website was launched KarSalaam.in where people could send messages through Twitter and Facebook to our brave soldiers. The campaign was a roaring success as more than 2 lakh messages were collected both online and offline. This shows the spirit of our fellow Indians for our brave heart soldiers. We rarely get any chance to express how grateful we are, or
